Sanoran Spotlights January issue was fun to shoot.
Expertly styled by Mele Larson and Nikki Worthen, with hair by Tantrum, and makeup by Nicole Barr
Clothing was by SheShe Frock, Junkie Trunk, and Tea Dreams..
It was only when the model was sitting on the Corvette Concept car '66, that started at 1.5 Million Dollars at Barrett Jackson, that we realized what a scratch from her jeans might cost our insurance company! I half expected Robbie, the PR exec from Rose and Allyn, to fall over dead. Luckily the car stylist wasn't watching. We got the shot though. My favorite from this shoot was the Corvette and the Red Headed model. It looked strait out of the Wonder Years. I half expected Fred Savage to walk out.
This shoot was featured by Pure Touch on the upcoming "Lighting on Location with Mark Mabry video" coming soon to a website near you. Family Friendly lighting theory and photographic pontifications by yours truly. Sign up for more info on the home page. The idea was developed by one of their staff photographers, who is really talented, but had some fundamental lighting questions. We answer them and more.
I know that last plug was shameless, but hey, it's my site. Here is the Barrett Jackson stuff.
